ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the evolution of justice for children in relation to protecting them from child abuse. This is explored in three English-speaking countries, England, Australia and the USA. While justice for children should be a basic right in all cultures and countries, it is possible that some of the lessons, including similarities and differences from these three examples, may be of benefit in helping to understand the evolution of services to protect and develop our children.
