ABSTRACT
This chapter covers various types of planning data, data sources, and how to process them. Not only the Census, we also introduce web-based data and spatial data used in various planning subfields—demographics, housing, economy, transportation, environment, etc. As an emerging trend, big data and its applications in planning research are also discussed.
