ABSTRACT
This paper presents a fractal based spiral inductor for wireless applications. The proposed fractal inductor is having 12 to 52% improvement in Inductance value (L) over reported standard inductors with moderate Quality factor (Q). The simulation results obtained from HFSS are validated experimentally on fabricated Printed Circuit Board (PCB) using Network Analyzer in the frequency range (130–500 MHz). The experimental results are almost matches with simulation results.
