ABSTRACT

Today, the use of common rail technology for high power marine diesel engines is becoming more and more widespread. The outstanding advantage of the electronic injection system is the in-creased efficiency, engine power and NOx reduction in engine emissions, and the use of electronic injection systems will increase reliability and performance of the engine. To study and analyze the outstanding features of the electronic injection system, the author examines the application of CFD numerical simulation to develop a program to simulate the working process of a fuel injection of marine diesel engine. This program is used to analyze the factors affecting the fuel injection process of the marine diesel engine nozzle, which gives the researcher a basis for evaluating the optimization features of the system. Electronic injection is al-so used as a tool for analyzing breakdown failures of electronic fuel injectors during operation. In this presentation, the author will in turn introduce the electronic fuel injection theory, calculation and simulation program, CFD simulation technique in Ansys and run the program with specific applications for analyzing and evaluating the quality of fuel injection process.
