ABSTRACT
This purpose of this chapter is to describe educational inclusion from the perspective of governmental and nongovernmental entities, both formal and informal. First, we examine educational inclusion in the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government. We next address the position statements from the leading nongovernmental organizations related to the educational inclusion and education of students with disabilities. We conclude by offering our thoughts on the roles of government entities and nongovernmental agencies on educational inclusion.
