ABSTRACT

This work presents the results obtained after creating two multimedia resources made in Augmented Reality and Gigapixel Image. In the first one, the focus has been to acknowledge the main alterations of a painting, shown in a visual and intuitive way. In the second one, a further step has been taken by incorporating all the available information about the altarpiece to the interactive resource: general data, iconographic and morphological analysis, polychromy, technical information, and lastly, alterations and previous interventions.

However, each feature offers advantages and disadvantages regarding content and navigation, requiring a higher or lower participation of the user, as it will be described in the communications.
