The Center for Environmental Information: Meeting Community Information Needs

The Center for Environmental Information, Inc. was created in the mid-1970s as a non-profit and non-advocacy organization. Over the years the scope and nature of its programs and outreach have grown. This paper presents the history in the development of the Center and highlights the evolution of its major programs and activities.
