ABSTRACT
A tutorial module for learning about conference literature is presented. This module is intended for the use of new science librarians, library assistants, advanced students, faculty members and technical staff who need to verify and identify conference proceedings. The module has three basic components: Summary Sheets of indexing journals and databases; Questions; and a Work Sheet. Questions are recorded on the Work Sheet. To select the appropriate database or index the Work Sheet is compared to the Summary Sheets. Some recommendations about recording the results obtained are presented.
