[Those who Travel in Caravans]

The manuscript is in the Wordsworth Library, Dove Cottage as MS 1989:161.66. It consists of two fragments of unwatermarked white paper cut from a larger sheet or sheets. In each case the recto was written before cutting and so bears fragmentary text, whilst the verso seems to have been written after cutting and has more continuity. Fragment 1 measures 92 by 50 mm and is written on both sides in black ink (paler on the verso). Fragment 2 measures 92 by 48 mm and is written on both sides in blue. 2v has a conclusion added in Japp’s hand, omitted here. 1 verso is published in PW I, 259.
