ABSTRACT
This personal essay is a recollection of the author’s experiences as a consultant during the early years of the review magazine, Choice. Included are personal glimpses of the first two editors and an indication of their personalities. The dismissal of the second Choice editor is described from the point of view of a sympathetic outsider.
