Jeane Kirkpatrick has undoubtedly been the most visible woman in the United States foreign policy arena. From her unique position as both United States Ambassador to the United Nations and a member of the inner coterie of President Reagan’s foreign policy advisors, Ambassador Kirkpatrick had an incalculable impact on American foreign policy extending far beyond the United Nations.
