ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses of acquainting people with the experience of the Tempo Lineare school, whose aim is to offer a space and time for people to think together over the quality of children's first experiences and of the arms holding them. Tempo Lineare, with its two separate schools, one for 0–3-year-olds and the other for 4–6-year-olds, helps families to feel less lonely in Rome. It was created with an aim of helping parents to become inquisitive as they consider how they are in the relationship with their children. The school has the accompanying aim of supporting the harmonious development of very deep emotions through observing and welcoming, while helping if necessary, mothers and fathers in their encounters with their child. Facilitating acceptance and understanding of the projections reverberating within the relationships between parents, teachers, and children promotes a state of reflectiveness and increased maturity in facilitating the children's upbringing.
