ABSTRACT
I was invited to say something about the development of Chinese psychoanalysts. It is my pleasure. But I am not sure if I can tell the whole story of Chinese psychoanalysts because China is so big and there are so many therapists with different backgrounds—too many even beyond what we can imagine. This year, when I had already finished my doctoral work, I came across psychodynamic therapists. This opened another field for me, letting me know that there is yet another group that works in a totally different environment. There are many more groups of therapists who work differently from us who work analytically.
