ABSTRACT
This is a special steadfast book that provides an up-to-date overview of thermal and dielectric analysis techniques in the study of polymers and multicomponent polymeric systems. In the domain of thermal analysis, emphasis is mainly given to thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA), thermo-mechanical analyzer (TMA), dielectric analyzer (DEA). These techniques along with their working principles and various modes of operations are described. Their usefulness in the characterization of polymers is covered comprehensively with examples cited in the literature [1].
