ABSTRACT
India’s development discourse shows inherent relations between the ‘periphery’ and the ‘lack’. This ‘lack’ of development of a specific kind is backed by the neoliberals and capitalists to bring forth their agenda of extracting resources of the region under the pretext of providing ‘fill-ups’ for the lack.
