ABSTRACT
Conversation with the victims (or with their relatives) of organized violence shows that there is something terribly wrong in the practice of democracy in Northeast India. In case of violation of human rights, the basic rights to know the truth behind such violations are not open to the victim’s side. In such a scenario, right to justice is a distant dream.
