ABSTRACT
This chapter begins with a brief introduction to molecular communications (MC) systems and the context of the problem. Then, four popular error correction codes (ECCs) are introduced into MC systems with an associated analysis of the propagation and communication channel models. Finally, the performance of the coded system with regard to bit error rate (BER) and critical distance is presented.
