ABSTRACT
Over the last 5-6 years my colleagues and I have made use of three main experimental techniques for investigating immediate processing. In chronological order these were the Rapid Sequential Visual Presentation (RSVP) task, the Subject-Paced Reading Task and various types of priming tasks.
