Ethical Issues and Considerations of Big Data
The swiftness of expansion in “Big Data” and connected events, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and social media, has exceeded the capability of a normal consumer to realize their actions and, the indirect and cumulative consequences. Concerns are not only connected with social issues, it is also connected with how data scientists understand the data, data generation, and its security. We are moving towards transformation in how ethical issues are sensed and viewed. Many people are unaware of that the actions taken by them could lead to unintended consequences for someone. The primary intention of this paper is to discuss some important ethical issues related to Big Data and suggest ways to rethink of our contemporary philosophy, policymaking, and research, which would direct and guide scientists and organizations in handling Big Data ethically.
