ABSTRACT

In a relatively short time, sustainable development has become an issue in many areas. At the Delft University of Technology, a policy statement was adopted in 1994 in which the topic features prominently. As a result, it has become an evaluation criterium of the new curriculum which is Currently being implemented. This leads to the direct question in which topics, having a connection with sustainable development, must be considered relevant to the students of the Faculty of Geodetic Engineering and the role these topics will play in their professional career.
