ABSTRACT
A 4-year-old previously healthy child who attends day care presents with a limp for 3 days. His day care provider states they were at the park on the first day of symptoms and the child may have twisted his ankle, but she cannot recall any specific event. He also had some upper respiratory symptoms the week prior.
