ABSTRACT

A 5-month-old female presents to the emergency room due to a large head size and vomiting. She was seen by her pediatrician a month ago when they noted the patient to have a slightly larger head. Her pediatrician instructed them to follow-up in a month as she was otherwise doing well and developmentally appropriate. Today, her mother brings her in with progressive vomiting. She states that the baby has been vomiting after some of her feeds for the last 2 weeks. She has been otherwise doing well. No fevers, seizures, abnormal movements, diarrhea, or upper respiratory symptoms. She has been meeting her developmental milestones and she is an otherwise healthy full-term baby without any prior medical issues.
