ABSTRACT
A 14-year-old boy presents to the emergency department with right shoulder pain after being tackled while playing football. He denies any other injuries. He has good sensation and strength distally, but is unable to elevate his right arm or touch his opposite shoulder. He has good pulses, strength, and sensation distally.
