ABSTRACT
A number of ocular problems associated with renal failure may persist in patients under hemodialysis. It is thus difficult to discuss complications related to hemodialysis independently from those caused by the underlying renal problem. Most of these complications will also be found in patients who underwent renal transplantation, although in this group specific ocular problems may result from iatrogenic immunosuppression.
