ABSTRACT
Classically, spinal problems involving both the anterior and posterior column of the spine required a two-incision approach (1). The first required an anterior approach to accomplish decompression of the neural elements and reconstruction of the anterior column, and afterward a second posterior approach was necessary for posterior spinal stabilization (2).
