ABSTRACT
The quantitative analysis of dissolution profiles and the comparison of such profiles have found increasing interest in the recent literature. A comprehensive survey was given in a previous textbook of this series (1). The purpose of this chapter is to discuss the same topic from a more systematic point of view, with a critical judgment as to which analytical methods are most adequate in certain specific situations and which methods are less adequate for general application.
