ABSTRACT
Dysphagia and aspiration may occur due to limitation of tongue motion, scar forma-
tion within or on the surface of the tongue, or paralysis of branches of the hypoglos-
sal nerves. Despite this potential, persistent dysphagia has not been reported (7)
(9-12,16,20).
