ABSTRACT
Since the early usage of icons in user interface design, the functionality of icons has gradually improved. After discovering that the pictograms on computer interfaces were not always readily recognized by users, developers introduced supporting rollover text labels that appear when the computer mouse cursor is introduced (Bocker 1996).
