ABSTRACT
Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) is the presenting symptom in up to 33% of women referred to the gynecologist. Annually, more than 10 million women complain of AUB, and 6 million will seek treatment for symptoms, including bleeding, chronic anemia, pain, and cramping (1).
