ABSTRACT
There exist several forms of hand protection, which can be used as stand-alone protection, or in combination with other personal protective equipment. The commonly available hand protection devices are gloves, mittens, finger cots, and gauntlets-made of several materials, such as leather, cotton, rubber, nylon, latex, metal, and in combinations of the same-to provide maximum protection against the specific condition being guarded against.
