ABSTRACT
Reprography, the science of duplicating printed matter through such methods as microfilming and photocopying, has been used in libraries for over a century. Methods of reprography have included microphotography, microfilming, photostating/rotographing, and xerography, amongst others. The introduction of these methods into libraries enhanced access to information but also raised serious concerns about copyright infringement.
