ABSTRACT
Regulation is generally considered a boring matter and, from a static point of you, it is. But if you consider it from a dynamic perspective, it may be a real adventure. Striving toward international harmonization of regulations has been the main objective of the last decade and it will continue. The legislator has a heavy responsibility in this context, but industry and consumers share it. The first part of this chapter will be devoted to a review of the last four decades and the search for harmonization of cosmetic regulations.
