Leadership type in youth organizations (case study of the Islamic Association of University Students [HMI])
The right leadership style determines organizational success. The leadership style is applied according to the needs of members and organizational situations. This study aimed to analyze the appropriate leadership style at the Islamic Association of University Students (HMI) in Indonesia. The design of research was simple descriptive. The method used was random sampling. Transformational leadership was dominant compared to transactional leadership. Islamic values support the transformation of cadres in HMI organizations.
