Development of a geomechanical model for the effective rock mass state management during underground mining of the Oleniy Ruchey deposit
The article presents the key parameters of a geomechanical model of the rock mass in a vicinity of actual and planned underground mining on the Oleniy Ruchey deposit. The designed model includes the major geological, geomechanical and mining factors. Numerical modeling was carried out with SigmaGT software complex. The change in the rock mass stress-strain state as mining operations progress was estimated taking into account influence of the nearest fault structures and tectonic stresses. The most probable areas of dynamic rock pressure occurrence was defined.
