Integration of microplasma sensor CES into oil and gas industry and mining industry
An innovative photoionization microplasma sensor developed by a plasma research group at the Saint Petersburg Mining University has competitive advantage due to electron collision spectroscopy (CES) technology. Its unique characteristics and an extensive list of detectable molecules make it possible to talk about a wide range of applications. Considering worldwide standards of labor safety, industries that make a negative employee’s health effect are the most promising for implementation of CES sensor. Moreover, the small size and high speed of response makes it possible to use this device as an individual portable gas-analyzer to control the state of health in home conditions.
