ABSTRACT

Due to the increase in the length of transmission lines, the issues of direct current electricity transmission are currently topical. A laboratory test bench was developed to study various ways of transmitting electricity by the research team of the University of Mines. The stand provides for the possibility of transmitting electricity not only in the classical way, over three wires of alternating current, but also transfer of electricity by direct current through three wires with their successive switching. The article describes the structure of the stand, as well as a number of experiments conducted at the stand, aimed at confirming the properties of the method in question.
