Influence of technological factors on the formation of spontaneous combustion centers in underground mining
Analysis of existing coal mines in Russia shows that currently mainly coal deposits of the Kuznetsk basin are mined, the coal seams of which are prone to spontaneous combustion and dangerous by gas factor. In most cases mining system by longwalls with the preparation of the dual mine workings is used. The research presents the results of studies of the influence of technological factors in the development of coal seams prone to spontaneous combustion on the formation of centers of spontaneous combustion of coal in underground mining. In particular, the conclusions about the influence of coal pillars, the insulated air exhaust from working face through goaf, the size of the extraction area, the depth of mining and the combination of these factors on the endogenous fire hazard, are made.
