Evaluation problem of harmful effects in mining works during construction of subway escalator tunnels with the help of soils freezing method

This research deals with the technological features of escalator tunnels construction using soils freezing technique. The nature responsible for harmful effects of such mining on the earth’s surface was analyzed. The characteristic of existing methods of displacements estimation and deformations are given, their shortcomings are revealed. Methods and techniques for solving assessment problem of harmful mining effects in the escalator tunnels construction by freezing were proposed with the purpose of buildings and structures protection.
