ABSTRACT
The article rates the effect of combined power grid consisting of the steam-turbine and wind-powered plants upgrading with electric power storage device. The study is based on the mathematical modeling and simulation of the system in the Simulink MatLab software. The article describes the used model blocks. The results show a positive effect from the use of energy storage devices in power supply systems.
