ABSTRACT

Much of life exists on a continuum. There are some discrete markers like marriage or having children: One is either married or not married though even this may have shades of gray, and marriage means different things to different people in different cultures; one either has children or doesn’t. This chapter develops methodologies that “hybridize” the triaxial model and adopt it in a precise manner in their corresponding field of specialization education, family, company, sport, etc. Accordingly, organizations are also both economic and humanistic in nature; comprised of human beings operating in relationships with others, firms, too, are logical and rational as well as emotional and creative in nature. To survive in the twenty-first century, companies will have to develop a new way to operate a new culture. But changing the organizational culture is the toughest task managers or any organizational consultant including a coach may face.
