ABSTRACT

In the concluding remarks of this book, the editors deliberate on the opportunities and challenges in collaborative research and ways forward for future collaborative Arctic research, while gathering and discussing learning drawn from the contributions.  As the chapters in this volume make clear, the application of collaborative methods in research not only substitutes or extends past practices of research on Arctic communities, it also supports and activates local capacities.
