ABSTRACT
The heat and humidity of Tokyo’s summer has caused severe casualties during the last few years and pose one of the biggest hurdles to hosting successful Olympic Games. This chapter will take a look at the various countermeasures prepared and suggested by the Japanese Olympic Committee and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
