ABSTRACT
The dwarf honeybee, Apis florea Fabricius, is one of two wild honeybee species of southern and South East Asia. It is confined to warm climates where it does very well. It is known to have wider distribution in tropical and subtropical Asia. The greatest advantage of the dwarf honeybee is its capability to work and pollinate plants under extremely hot, arid conditions.
