ABSTRACT

Entrepreneurship initiated by the Indigenous community in a particular social, economic, cultural, and environmental context has the potential to bring economic development that contributes towards sustainable development. This chapter illustrates the role of Indigenous entrepreneurship in an Indigenous village, and captures the participation of local people in economic activities. Besides, this study extends to explore sustainable development through the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) approach. The chapter argues that Indigenous entrepreneurship brings economic development, as well as contributes towards the sustainable development of the community.
