ABSTRACT
The sources of pollution, pollution problems, and environmental–technological methods to reduce and control air pollution are presented for particulate pollution, pollution by carbon monoxide, carbon hydrides, sulfur dioxide, nitrogenous gases, and heavy metals. A section is devoted to the wide spectrum of industrial air pollutants, their problems, and how this air pollution can be reduced and controlled.
