ABSTRACT

Everyone wants to know how a company or firm has become one of the top-performing companies. Various researchers tried to answer this question from various perspectives and ended up with different results based on the factors chosen for the analysis. In this paper, we compared some of such analyses and factors that affect the position of a company. This paper gives an overall idea of the top-performing companies in the world based on their revenue, market capitalization, profit and the number of employees. We also conducted a sample survey to analyse the factors influencing the position of a company from the perspective of customers and the analysis results are discussed. It is found that most of the customers are preferring a brand or a company based on the trend, quality and popularity. Most of the customers preferring quality over the price while buying a product.
