ABSTRACT

Once grievances have been shared and affirmed, it’s easy to segue into the solution—Medicare for All. Note that arguments about overall health care system costs, how doctors or hospitals would be paid, or administrative waste are all missing from the list. Many with excellent workplace health insurance have found that a serious illness or injury may cause them to lose their job, and subsequently their health insurance. The Congressional Medicare for All Act adds hearing, dental, and vision coverage, and eliminates premiums, co-pays, and deductibles. Generally, voters agree with Medicare for all in principle, but feel like the issue is too polarizing to be passable. Right now, employers and conservative state governments determine our health care coverage for us.
