ABSTRACT
It was just a year ago when I was sworn in as Wisconsin’s first Black lieutenant governor, where I could represent those in our state who feel they may have not been represented before; to be in a position where I can be a voice for those in our state who have felt voiceless; to be in a position where I could work to create and support policies that allow everyone in our state the opportunity to thrive.
