ABSTRACT
In recent years, the number of films adapted from Internet literary works has been increasing. Protection of the integrated copyright for such adaptation is not well established in China. Exercising the right to authorize this kind of cinematic adaptation and the issue of “multiple grants” also restrict the further development of the film industry. Therefore, the establishment of an effective system to protect the copyright of adapted films is particularly important for the promotion and development of the Chinese film industry.
