ABSTRACT

The personal information about the patients may contain sensitive and private information. Thus it is essential to secure the patients’ health records. Several existing techniques are utilized for securing the sensitive or private data about the patient in cloud environment. But still it lacks in the security of the information related to the personal health details. Thus an intelligent cryptography approach is preferred based on Identity Based Encryption (IBE) for Secured Distributed EHR Data Storage in Cloud Computing. Initially the data owner collects all the information regarding the health details about the patients. Then this data can be updated regularly and stored in the cloud environment. Then the process of key generation is carried out and with this key, the data are encrypted and stored in the cloud database by Identity Based Encryption (IBE). If the third party required to access the data, the request is send to the cloud for verify the users. Policy based Re-encryption key is generated by utilizing personal identity and it received by the user to access the E-Health Record (EHR). The proxy decryption is introduced to extract the data and again the decryption process is handled to extract the original data by using public key. So, the medical data related to the particular patient can be securely retrieved by this approach. In this paper, an intelligent cryptography approach on identity based encryption (IBE) for secured distributed EHR data storage in cloud computing is presented.
